Why choose our infusion center

Patients receive care in a quiet room setting designed for comfort and healing. Each room includes a comfortable recliner, TV, and space for a visitor when appropriate, with easy access to free, close parking just outside the hospital.

During your visit, you can expect:

  • Hours from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with next-day appointments often available depending on your treatment plan.
  • Pillows, warm blankets, beverages, and lunch when you are here during mealtime to help you stay relaxed and comfortable.
  • Experienced nurses who specialize in infusion therapy, central line care, and patient education to support you through every step of treatment.

What to expect during your visit

Your comfort and safety are at the center of every infusion appointment. After check-in, a member of the infusion team will review your treatment plan, answer questions, and start your IV or access your port or central line as ordered by your provider.

During your infusion:

  • Medication flows from an IV bag through a small catheter directly into your bloodstream at a carefully controlled rate.
  • Nurses monitor your vital signs and how you are feeling throughout your visit and are available to address any concerns.
  • You can rest in a recliner, watch TV, read, or listen to music while receiving pillows, warm blankets, and refreshments to help you stay comfortable.

Most patients are able to return home shortly after their infusion and resume normal activities as advised by their provider.
