Laura Hagen, ARNP, FNP-C, CFCS, is a family nurse practitioner with more than 16 years of experience in the medical field, including 6 years practicing as a nurse practitioner in family medicine, urgent care, and podiatry/wound care settings. She cares for patients from newborns through older adults and has consistently earned patient satisfaction ratings above 95%.​

Laura was raised on a farm in rural Earlham and is a graduate of Earlham High School, and has spent her career serving small rural communities across Iowa. Returning to practice in her hometown, she is passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based care while building lifelong relationships with patients and their families in Madison County and the surrounding area.​

Her approach to care is holistic and patient-centered, focused on creating a respectful, supportive environment where patients are active partners in shared decision-making. She emphasizes strong communication, collaboration, and thorough documentation to ensure safe, individualized care tailored to each person’s needs.​

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, watching and attending football games, horseback riding, traveling, and working on home projects. She is also interested in community involvement, including social media outreach, participation in local events, and potential educational seminars or workshops as she settles into her role in Earlham.
