About Erin Knauer

Erin Knauer is a Greenfield native and a 2001 graduate of Nodaway Valley High School. She has over 15 years of experience in social work, with a career that has included hospice care, mental health care, and private practice therapy. Erin has provided both in-person and telehealth counseling services, previously working in Des Moines and now serving the Fontanelle and Winterset area.

She is the owner and therapist at Silver Lining Counseling. Erin’s practice is open to adults and adolescents, and she is supported by a former co-worker who is currently completing a master’s degree internship.

Erin is passionate about empowering each individual to live the life they envision. Known for her compassionate and collaborative approach, she works closely with clients to incorporate treatment modalities that best fit their needs. Her goal is to help you live your best life by supporting you every step of the way.
