Delivers quality therapy services to patients by performing evaluations and developing individual treatment plans and goals to maximize functional outcomes for inpatients and outpatients of Madison County Memorial Hospital. The PT is responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice following the guidelines of the State of Iowa Board of Examiners for Physical Therapy. The PT actively participates in discharge planning, implements the treatment program, and reassesses treatment results. Services are delivered within the framework of an interdisciplinary team approach, including significant others, and the patient. These services are delivered in compliance with MCHCS policies and procedures.
Part time – 4 days a week – 6 hour shifts
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
Licensure/certification: Current and unrestricted licensure as an Physical Therapist in Iowa. Current certification in basic life support and Mandatory Child and Dependent Adult Abuse.
Previous Work Experience: Previous PT experience in an acute care facility desired. Previous PT experience in an outpatient facility preferred.
