Under general supervision, operates general equipment in performing radiologic procedures according to established guidelines and protocols. Provides quality diagnostic images for interpretation by a Radiologist. Transports patients to and from radiology and other areas of the clinic as needed. Will assist in general clinical and administrative tasks when not performing X-rays.
FT – 80 hours per pay period
Mon-Thurs: Full Days, Friday: 1/2 Day
Minimum Requirements
Education: Successful completion of an accredited two year radiologic technologist training program.
Licensure/certification: Active registration with the ARRT in general radiography.
Current Iowa license to practice general radiography.
Proof of required continuing educational credits.
Previous Work Experience: Previous radiologic technologist experience preferred.
