Under general supervision, operates general and portable radiologic equipment as well as performs at least one advanced diagnostic imaging service such as Mammography, CT or MRI according to established guidelines and protocols. Provides quality diagnostic images for interpretation by a Radiologist. Transports patients to and from radiology and other areas of the hospital as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Successful completion of an accredited two year radiologic technologist training program. Completion of training in advanced diagnostic imaging services including but not limited to one or more of the following: CT, Mammography, MRI.
Licensure/certification: Active registration with the ARRT in general radiography.
Current Iowa license to practice general radiography.
Proof of required continuing educational credits.
Previous Work Experience: Previous radiologic technologist experience preferred.
