Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is responsible for a full range of activities which ensure the operational and financial effectiveness and excellence of hospital operations.  Maintains a detailed working knowledge of business related computer applications in order to work with software vendors and hospital staff to remedy issues, provide training and extract data from software to meet reporting needs.  Tracks and analyzes hospital operational trends and makes recommendations that will positively impact the hospital.

Two year Associate Degree in Accounting or related field required – Bachelor Degree preferred.  Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required.  At least two years’ experience in hospital reimbursement preferred.  Previous healthcare experience working with general ledgers, revenue cycle, cost report reimbursement and support of business related software preferred.
