Madison County Health Care System (MCHCS) is pleased to announce that the MCHCS Senior Life Solutions program has received the award for 2018 Program of the Year. The program beat out 70 other Senior Life Solutions programs across the country to earn the award.

Senior Life Solutions honors the top performing employees and programs annually based on their excellence in demonstrating the company’s values of care, compliance, and community.  Award recipients demonstrated outstanding patient care, excellent comprehension and execution of compliance regulations, and strong community engagement.

MCHCS Program Director Alysha Reynolds, RN, BSN said, “We work hard at ensuring our patients get the care they need and deserve, and it’s an honor to be recognized for that.  I’ve loved working with Patti and Rhonda since the day our doors opened, as well as the whole team at MCHCS.  It’s the kind of workplace everyone dreams to have.”

MCHCS’s Senior Life Solutions program is an intensive outpatient group therapy program designed to meet the unique needs of older adults over the age of 65 struggling with symptoms of depression and anxiety often related to aging.  The program staff includes a board-certified psychiatrist, licensed social workers, a registered nurse, and other professionals dedicated to the emotional well-being of seniors in the community.

Anyone can refer an individual to the program including family members, physicians, or other health professionals.
