Madison County Health Care System (MCHCS) shared a new logo and branding with the public on Monday, May 13th. The announcement coincides with the beginning of Hospital Week celebrations at the health care system. MCHCS’s new branding has a more modern look and feel, and reflects the organization’s mission to provide compassionate, high quality health care.
“We’re excited to share our new branding with the public,” said MCHCS CEO Marcia Hendricks. “A lot of effort has gone into ensuring it represents our values and goals for the future. We prioritize investing in cutting edge technology and training for employees in order to provide the best care possible to our patients. It’s important to us that our public image reflects our modern capabilities.”
The new branding has been in the works since the beginning of the year when MercyOne, previously Mercy, announced their new logo and branding. MCHCS has an affiliate partnership with MercyOne which provides many benefits to the local health care system. MercyOne’s branding changes included a requirement to add “An Affiliate of MercyOne” to all affiliate partners’ logos. Leadership at MCHCS determined this was an ideal opportunity to update MCHCS’s branding, as well. The last MCHCS logo update took place a little over ten years ago.
