| Licensed
professionals who hold either a Master or Bachelor degree in social
work provide social services. The department serves patients and
families in the hospital, Health Trust Physicians Clinic, and Middle
River Hospice. Social Services include the provision of psychosocial
counseling, financial assistance, referral for community resources,
patient advocacy, and assistance with discharge planning. The
department also coordinates the Bereavement Program for Middle River
Hospice. |
