| The Giving Tree has
been established in memory of Dr. John and Mrs. Hazel Evans. Dr. Evans
served the Winterset Community from 1953-1975, while being on staff at
the Madison County Memorial Hospital.
Monetary
gifts given to the hospital of $500 up to $1000 will be recoginized
with the donor name engraved on a leaf of the tree. The tree is located
near the main enterance on the lower level of the hospital.
Donations of
$1000 up to $5000 will receive a small stone located near the base of
the tree, while donations of $5000 or larger will be recognized with a
large stone.
